Enumerated attribute

Hello.

I have two problems with the script I wrote.
One is that when I run the script I get a message saying
-RE-DXL <Line:167> "attribute with multiple values expected"
But I can not understand the reason of this error. What Im not seeing?

The other is the message when I try to close:

oors.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module doors.exe at 001B:008DDC0D

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Hi braolive,

The function "isMember" only works with multi-value attributes.

I am not sure what  your "Validation method" shall be. In line 167 you expect an obect attribute of the name "Validation method", in line 56 you create an AttrType "Validation method", but not an object attribute of the same name. If your attribute "Validation method" exists in your module, check whether it is defined as multi-value or not.

as for the exception error, I am not sure, I did not read all the code. It probably means that you access something which does not exist any more.

Best regards

Mike

Its true I havent seen the attribute in the module. He isnt a multi-valued attribute.

Changed that, the dxl worked and the exception error dissapear.

Thanks!

I wonder if your exception violation was at line #759 [delete modulesToClose]; as "modulesToClose" isn't defined.

Without a doubt you should put something like this at the top of your code:

  • Module mHome = current

Then use "mHome" throughout instead of "current Module".  It might not matter in THIS script, but surely will if your script opens other modules.
